Glossary of terms:

  • CCA = Cold Cranking Amperes
  • SAE = Society of Automotive Engineers
  • RC = Reserve Capacity

 

Caution: Avoid using deep cycle battery, maintenance-free battery, lithium battery or gel cell battery.

 Note:

  • Parallel connection of batteries (dual battery installation) – In the case of parallel connection, two batteries should be of the same specification.
  • Parallel charging of batteries – Do not charge batteries of different specifications connected in parallel. Make sure to connect batteries of the same type and same capacity.
